Brooke Schekter, Managing Partner of LS Health Law, is a dedicated advocate for healthcare professionals, committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards and providing skilled representation in health law. Since joining TTL Health Law, Brooke has demonstrated a profound understanding of administrative and health law, combining rigorous preparation with a passion for procedural fairness.
Brooke has been vocal about critical issues affecting Ontario’s healthcare system, including the implications of recent legislative changes like the Your Health Act, 2023. She emphasizes the need for stronger protections for physicians, especially in private healthcare settings, and has highlighted concerns about changes in virtual care, which she believes could limit access and strain in-person services.
